Over the following year, I plan to not only fill my time with academics but also to pursue my many other extra-curricular endeavors. For starters, I plan to complete the International Baccalaureate Diploma by the time I graduate. I will also be attending and competing at the Irish dance nationals in July in Nashville, Tennessee. I hope to continue my Internship at SLB radio until I graduate next spring. Once I’ve graduated, I plan to attend a four-year university, majoring in journalism.

After I finish high school, I plan to attend a 4-year university to study business. I hope to play intramural soccer and become fluent in Spanish in college as well. I have lived in Pittsburgh all my life and love it ever so dearly, however, I plan to attend a university in some other city. I specifically say another city because I plan to have a successful career in real estate development and a city is the ideal environment in which to do so.

This summer I plan on going on mission trip with the All Saints Parish youth group through Catholic Heart Work Camp to Richmond, VA. After graduation next year I plan on attending college to pursue a degree in Business Marketing. My goal is to further my education by attending law school. My desire is to become a prosecuting attorney, advocating for victims of domestic violence.

I plan to continue my education at a 4 year university and I am waiting to hear back from some schools in March. I am planning to pursue a degree in mathematics and secondary education. At university, I plan on continuing my volunteer work and participating in field hockey, theatre, and student government.

My career and educational goals include becoming a functional citizen in society through achieving a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biochemistry from Duquesne University, a Medical Degree from an accredited medical school, and overall specializing in emergency medicine or surgery.

I’m planning on majoring in Biomedical Engineering with a special focus on Neuroengineering and Rehabilitation Engineering. I’m hoping to eventually enter the field as a prosthetics engineer. There are many people in the world that have lost a part of themselves, or have been missing a piece of themselves from birth, preventing them from doing things most people would consider trivial. Through prosthetics engineering, I want to help give them back a piece of themselves they have been missing.

My future plans are to attend Penn State University, University Park to major in Professional Golf Management. I would like to continue helping with the First Tee of Pittsburgh and give back to the golf community. I plan on continuing working as a caddie and bag room attendant at South Hills Country Club.

I will be attending the Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina in the fall on a full scholarship, with an intended major of Intelligence and Security Studies. Upon graduation, I wish either take a commission into the Armed Forces as an aviator, or join a legal/intelligence related occupation.

I plan to attend Penn State for Architectural Engineering. My love for architecture came from a young age of trying to recreate buildings in my hometown with lego bricks. I always enjoyed the problem solving aspect of trying to build a structure with the limited pieces I possessed. I hope I can help improve the towns and cities I grew up going to by helping the constructing and the restoration of buildings.

In addition to pursuing my degree, I hope to participate in the university’s marching band to continue my love for playing the drums. I would also like to find a local church that I can volunteer and participate in mission work.

I have always had a passion for helping others in my community. In high school, I have done this through my leadership in Stand Together (a club designed to raise awareness about mental health/substance abuse) and working to be a positive force on and off of the lacrosse field. Moving forward, I plan to attend a four-year university before going to medical school to pursue my dream of becoming a pediatrician. I believe this career path will enable me to continue making a positive difference.

As our climate continues to worsen I plan to utilize my future for the betterment of our environment. Following high school I will pursue a 4 year degree majoring in environmental engineering to solve the pressing issues our world faces. During this time I hope to fulfill my passion by playing football for the college I choose to attend. Beyond the classroom I am serving my community as a volunteer firefighter as I have since the age of 16.

I plan on attending a Historically Black College/University and major in psychology. I will then go to graduate school to pursue my Ph.D in child psychology and start my own practice. Children face a lot of challenges and I want to be in a position where I can help them reach their full potential. Mental health is a serious issue, especially among children in the Black community. I want to work with minority youth who do not have equal access to quality mental health services.
