Upper St. Clair High School, 12

As I transition into the next phase of my education, I want to make sure that I can make an impact on other peoples’ lives with my work. Plans include:
– A presentation discussing the affect that commodification of mental health services has on my generation (gen X), TEDx verified
– Pursuit of an education in biological sciences (mostly epigenetics, psychology, and enviornmental (energy distribution, technological development))
– Continuing artistic pursuits (singing, theatre, creative writing)

Norwin High School, 12

My educational objectives include double majoring in finance and data analytics at St. Vincent College. My career aspirations are to work for a non-profit health plan or community provider that services Medicaid members. This is a vulnerable population that is underserved and disadvantaged with many avoidable issues. I plan to address these issues by developing programs to increase health equity in poorer communities.

I plan to study Cell Biology and Biochemistry at Bucknell University. After that, I plan to go on to medical school or possibly phamarcy or physician assitant school. It has always been my goal to work in the medical field.

My professional career plans would likely involve joining the Foreign Service. The diplomatic corps has always interested me, as it enables engagement in policymaking, but also traveling worldwide and constantly exploring new places. Despite eagerly studying global affairs, I lack an understanding of what it means to physically be a global citizen. Moving beyond suburban America and interacting with the societies/governments that I have studied is a prospect that excites me.

Growing up in a socioeconomically disadvantaged school district enlightened me about the disparities in resources available to students around me, an issue I feel passionate about pursuing. I plan to attend a university for Public Policy with the hope of ultimately securing a position with the Department of Education. Working in this field, I can advocate for school districts of all demographics, ensuring that students receive the support necessary to succeed in their education and life beyond.

Although I am still undecided as to where I plan to attend college, I plan to major in business. I have multiple top choices at the moment, but will be finishing the last of my touring to finally make my decision. I want the decision to feel right, so I want to take my time looking through my options and the pros and cons in each college. In any school I attend I will take my academics seriously, which can be supported from my academic history as a student in Baldwin High School.

My future plans are to attend college after graduating from Saint Joseph High School. I am planning on majoring in the field of business and am considering playing basketball in college.

After High School, I plan to attend college for aerospace or astronautical engineering. Throughout the process of earning this degree, I plan to continue my artistic development, both through visual arts and music.

I plan to attend Seton Hill University to study computer science in their honors program. I have had many offers from the University of Pittsburgh and their honors program, Penn State, and Ohio State, but Seton Hill suits me perfectly. I plan to continue altar serving and being an extraordinary minister of Holy Communion along with Church festivals and fish fries. Coming from a Franciscan school, I have realized my call to serve.

My future plans are to attend a four year college and earn a degree in biology. I plan to follow college with medical school and become a family medicine doctor or an orthopedic surgeon.

I have applied at Westmoreland County Community College for their Nursing program. I am currently in high school, but I am also taking some college course over the span of February 2023 until my nursing program starts in the Fall of 2023. I plan to earn my Associates Degree in Nursing! I also would like to stay active and continue to support my community through the firehall to which I am a part of. I personally cannot wait to see what my future holds for me in impacting the lives of others.

Through my volunteerism, I have come to recognize the lack of mental health resources and support in low-income communities. Upon graduation, I plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree in psychology with an emphasis on human behavior and brain development. My ultimate goal is to become a clinical psychologist and work with those from underdeveloped and underfunded areas.

I plan to attend a 4-year university to study either Business or Architecture. I hope to own my own business one day and help my community.

I am currently accepted into Northwestern University as a Computer Science major. I plan on exploring and possibly switching to other areas of study, such as Applied Mathematics, Material Science, or Piano Performance. In the meantime, I hope to continue doing independent math research and writing and publishing on TeenInk. I wish to write and publish a novel in the future.

I plan on attending Slippery Rock University in the Fall of 2023 to pursue a degree in Information Technology & Cyber Security. I have always had an interest in computers and have been exposed to technology from a very early age watching my father work and build a business as a consultant in the field. It is my hope that I will be able to have the same success as he has had and gain a greater understanding and knowledge of computers and to be a part of the rapidly changing world of technology.

I will be attending the University of Notre Dame with an intended major of chemical engineering and a minor in biomedical engineering on the premedical track. I hope to use my engineering knowledge to research cellular engineering or nanotechnology while studying to become a physician. Medicine and engineering would provide opportunities for me to continue serving others while improving their health and overall quality of life.

Throughout my senior year of high school, I will job shadow at Pleasant Hills Middle School to gain experience developing lesson plans, reviewing student data, collaborating with teachers, and delivering instruction I will use this experience when I enroll at a 4 year university, majoring in Secondary Education and specializing in English/Language Arts. My non-academic goal in college is to use my experience as a nationally recognized baton twirler to become the feature twirler for my school.

As I approach my senior year, I want to take college-level courses at my local community college this summer. Upon graduation, I plan to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a focus on Human Resource Management. My ultimate goal is to work for a company where I can contribute to a positive work environment by supporting its employees. I am very passionate about helping people and want to continue to better myself by supporting others in any way that I can.

My future plans are to be involved in the political field. With the experiences that i’ve been exposed to with my working with my state senator, state representative and currently negotiating with Senator Fetterman, for a climate activist in PA. The experiences that I have recieved made my eyes open at such a young age and made me hungry for more. So I plan on going to Chatham University to take their 4+1 program and get my masters from Carnegie Mellon in Political Science.

My interests have long lied in policy, advocacy, and current events. After graduating high school I plan to study philosophy, politics, and economics, and thereafter pursue my interests by working in journalism or a think tank.

After watching the world suffer through multiple, preventable chemical disasters, I plan on attending Georgia Tech to study chemical and biomolecular engineering to better manage safety in the industry. Upon graduation, I also hope to enter the field of renewable energy to speed up our planet’s transition to a green future via wind, solar, or any other clean methods.

I plan to attend Grove City College with a major in Journalism/Communications, with a minor in Musical Theater. I hope to continue performing whether it is on the local news channel or on the “Great White Way”. Some of my other future plans include church and school (Grove City College) volunteer work.

I plan to attend Duquesne University next fall and major in Physician Assistant Studies. In this major, I will be in a five- year Accelerated PA program and hope to become a PA and work in a hospital setting in Pittsburgh, PA in the future.
