Throughout high school, I plan to maintain good grades and keep good relationships with all of my teachers and friends. I’m still not sure where I want to go to college or what my major is, but I intend to study pre-med. Once I receive my undergraduate degree, I want to attend medical school and become a pediatrician. The impact of my father’s fight to overcome cancer has driven my desire to become a physician, conduct research to improve cancer treatments and ultimately find a cure for cancer. This fall, I will attend Cornell, double-major in biology/psychology, while competing as a decathlete at the NCAA Division I level.
