    Following high school, I plan on attending a university to major in physics or astronomy, but I am still undecided as to where I will be going. After obtaining my bachelor’s degree, I intend to go to graduate school and acquire a Ph.D. in theoretical astrophysics. My long term career plan is to perform cosmology research at any college or company where it is available, but my dream job is to end up doing that research at NASA.

    Throughout high school, I plan to maintain good grades and keep good relationships with all of my teachers and friends. I’m still not sure where I want to go to college or what my major is, but I intend to study pre-med. Once I receive my undergraduate degree, I want to attend medical school and become a pediatrician. I will also be applying for as many grants and scholarships to help my mom along the way. In the end, I hope to open my own clinic to aid as many less fortunate children as I can.

  • National Society of Colonial Dames Writing Contest Winner /Ralph Munn Creative Writing Contest Winner/Pittsburgh Regional Scholastic Art and Writing Award, This essay contest is a major project of The The National Society of The Colonial Dames of America (NSC held under the auspices of the Washington Workshops Foundation, a private nonprofit educational program in American government for high school students. Each year, about 52 students were chosen from 50 states who win for a free week of citizenship education about the national government, plus fun, new friends, and tours of sites in our nation’s capital. For Ralph Munn Creative Writing Contest,My pieces of “Breakfast With Strangers” in 2018 and”Kindred Spirits” in 2019 have been published in the 2018 and 2019 Ralph Munn Creative Writing Anthology.     I plan on attending the University of Pittsburgh main campus to study biomedical engineering and specialize in prosthesis. I would like to develop a prosthetic eye that can eventually carry out the same functions as a normal human eye because my grandfather had a stroke in his eye and can no longer participate in the same activities that he used to do. Also, I would like to design a limb that can help people that are paralyzed function again.
