    My future plans are to attend a four year institution for Clinical Psychology, and then continue my education at the doctoral level to earn a PsyD. in Clinical Child Psychology, specializing in working with children with special needs and who have experienced trauma. I want to open my own practice, at at some point travel to impoverished areas so that children who do not have the means to receive mental health care can get the help they need.

      • Junior Co-Director Miss Saxonburg Pageant, sponsored by the Saxonburg Fire Department. Fund raising pageant that has raised close to $18,000 for the Fire Department 2018, close to $17,000 2019., Volunteer Junior Co-Director – 2 Years
  • Inititated and created the 2019 Pittsburgh Spirit Festival. I was featured on television, with K.D.K.A. Monday June 2 & 3, 2019, referred to as a student hero for independently coordinating a fund raiser event, raised over $9,000 for a life saving U.P.M.C. double lung transplant recipient – Michele McDonald Boeke. She was a former Miss U.S.A. 1971. Her story featuring her surgery had been aired on K.D.K.A. 7 months prior. I held the event at the Pittsburgh Mills Mall. I recruited all donations, advertisement and collected close to 100 raffle baskets. It was a Pittsburgh Talent Show, Pageant, Hula Hoop and Crazy Hair contest, D.J. Bake sale and more, all held in the Mall Food Court and store spaces donated by Pittsburgh Mills Mall. Although this day provided some help towards medical bills, more improtantly it brought a day of joy and love for Michele. Unfortanelty Michele passed away January 23, 2020., Volunteer Independent Coordinator – 1 Year

  • Junior Director for the The Bloomfield Little Italy Days Heritage Festival. My mother holds the Miss Little Italy Days Princess Event. Our event brings more than 250 people to watch and then purchase food and products from the local vendors and small businesses each year.     I plan to visit a variety of Universities that offer excellent education opportunities to obtain a degree in engineering. I have a real interest for science and mathematics. I will also be preparing for collegiate auditions to twirl with a University band. My high school does not have twirlers or dancers and my real passion is leaping under my batons and performing for others. I would like to perfect my parallel parking to pass my driver’s license test this spring.

    Overall, I have done 150 hours of service while earning my Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards with the Girl Scouts of Western Pennsylvania. I have completed over an additional 170 hours of community service as a St. Lucy’s Auxiliary to the Blind Medallion Ball Candidate. I hope to attend a university and study industrial or civil engineering, however, I am not certain yet. I feel community service is very important.     I consider myself truly fortunate for the numerous opportunities that I’ve been given and intend to give back to my community for the remainder of my high school education and beyond. My volunteer experience this past summer at the Pittsburgh Mission of Mercy confirmed my initial desire to pursue a lifelong commitment of helping others. I plan to attend a 4-year university followed by applying to medical school with the ultimate goal of practicing medicine in the greater Pittsburgh area.
