To follow this dream of mine, I plan to volunteer through Peace Corps after college under the Environmental Sector before beginning my career, both of which will allow me to pursue these ambitions.

Ever since I was a child, I have always felt a strange, compulsive yearning to help others — to make friends feel safe and included. It comes back with nostalgia now, but I realize that I carried that yearning along with me through all the years. Now, my often uncontrollable love and curiosity for biology push me toward a future in the medical and research fields, and I strive to lay down a lasting footprint in promoting racial globalization, diversity, and a genuine appreciation for nature.

I definitely plan to graduate from a 4-year university. However, I am still undecided about what my career path is going to be. One potential option is that after graduating from college, I would enter Officer Candidate School for either the Air Force or Navy. Upon serving in the military I would like to join the FBI or CIA. Another potential plan would be to major in business or marketing and pursue a career in the sports/entertainment industry.

To start this journey, I will study Exercise Science at Slippery Rock University for four years, then continue my education via a graduate program.
