In March of 2019 I was diagnosed with two germinoma tumors of the brain, I had four rounds of Chemotherapy and 20 radiation treatments before being cleared on September 4 of that year. Before my fight with cancer I knew that I wanted to go to college for something in the medical field, however I was not completely sure what for. I’m now committed to University of Pittsburgh Greensburg’s nursing program, and I’m planning to continue my education to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
