    As a young disabled woman, I have a strong passion for disability rights, particularly equal access to health care. I intend to double major in political science and public health. I hope to gain internships in government and public policy. After graduation, I intend to continue my advocacy work in the Peace Corps. Later, I plan to attend law school so I can further prepare myself to take on the challenge of advancing the laws that protect those with physical and mental health challenges.

      • I am an honor roll student with a 4.0 GPA, and was elected President of the National Honor Society my junior year. As President, I have advertised for “GS Threads”, my school’s clothing donation program. GS Threads offers a wide variety of clothes, shoes and accessories to any student free of charge. I run an Instagram account for the program along with our chapter’s Vice President. We use the platform to show students the clothes we have, while also promoting other National Honor Society fundraisers. Additionally, I graduated from the Kennametal Young Engineers program in the January. Also, I earned 3rd place at the Greensburg Area Science Program (GASP) Science Fair for researching how different substances affect the growth of freshwater algae., Awardee – 1 Year
