Currently, I work at a fast food restaurant in which I walk a mile to work each day. I understand the importance of being prompt, so I always show up 15 minutes before my scheduled shift. I share this because I recognize the value of money and having a good work ethic in life. This work experience has taught me to always be positive, even when things are tough. It has also shaped me for future endeavors. At work, I am praised by my managers for many things: my work ethic, my upbeat personality, and my kindness for others., Member – 1 Year
I have volunteered weekly at Unity Food Pantry during the summer for seven years. My responsibilities include stocking the pantry and preparing everything for people in need. My post-secondary plans are undecided currently; although I do know that I will attend college after graduation. I know that I want to help people in life and have dedicated much of my time in high school doing so. Many of my experiences, both in school and in my community, are helping to shape my future plans. Although I am uncertain about my college major, I know that I want to continue helping people in life.
