After graduation, I plan on obtaining bachelor’s degrees in both biological engineering and computer science. I wish to eventually work towards obtaining a Ph.D. and aiding in the convergence of these two fields.

As of now, I want to work in publishing, whether this be as a copy editor or a production editor; this is why my undergraduate degree will focus on English with a minor in journalism. Even though I want to work in publishing right now, there is no telling where my career path will take me because I am open to new avenues. However, I do know that I want to create wherever I go, for I feel most complete when I am working on a project or helping others mold their own creations.

In the future, I plan to pursue an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering at either the University of Pittsburgh or Case Western Reserve University. After that, I hope to attend medical school and specialize in sports medicine orthopaedic surgery in order to contribute to the continuously evolving world of medical science while also connecting with other young athletes.

In the fall, I plan on attending a 4-year college or university where I intend to pursue a double major in Business Management and Psychology. In the future, my hopes are that one day I become a Human Resources Manager. Throughout my entire existence, my family has instilled within me the idea that the most rewarding thing to do in life is to serve and help others, which I fully intend to do in the course of my career.

My plans for the future include going to Penn State Main Campus to major in either animal science or toxicology. I plan on taking all of the prerequisite courses for physician assistant school, and I wish to pursue that as my career. I am not sure where I would like to go for PA school, but I am thinking about Pitt or Duquesne.

Jeannette Senior High School, 12

Upon graduation I plan on attending The University of Pittsburgh Greensburg Campus to obtain my bachelors degree in Management Accounting. This degree will help me get closer to my dream of some day running my own business. I also plan on staying with my current employer, Walmart, for a few years to not only help get through college, but also in hopes of getting a promotion. I am often relied on to fill in for supervisory positions when we are short staffed or have call offs, this should help!

My plans are to complete an Accounting Degree. In order to earn my MBA, I may need to attend college a bit longer than expected. I look forward to taking my strength in math and continue to learn ways in which I can use math to have a successful career. I am also planning on minoring in Art. This is something I love to do and would like to continue in college. Another goal that I have is to not only attend a four year college but participate in the college Honor’s Program.

I plan on attending college to get my doctorate in order to become a physical therapist. I also want to continue to be a part of the Best Buddies community. If the college I choose to attend does not have a Best Buddies program, I would like to inquire about starting a chapter since it has positively impacted my life. Additionally, I would like to further my gymnastics career by participating in club gymnastics in college.

I plan to study business analytics. I have been accepted in the Honors College and School of Business at Villanova University. I am waiting to hear from other top ten schools before making a final decision.

My plans for the future are to attend a 4 year university, with a major in Fashion Design. I started sewing at age 9, and have since wanted to become a fashion designer. As for extracurriculars, I have formed a passion of activism, and would like to continue forward with Art Against Atrocities (an organization founded by myself) and Together We Remember. Both organizations help amplify my voice as a youth on a global platform to promote genocide and atrocity awareness.

I plan on attending a 4-year university to study secondary education with a specialization in history and a minor in Spanish. While in college I plan on student teaching and studying abroad. After school I plan to pursue my Master’s degree and begin my teaching career.

I am looking forward to attending either Penn State Schreyer Honors College or the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to study biomedical engineering. After, I plan on either attending medical school or graduate school to go into a career in the oncology field. If I decide to attend medical school, I will specialize in pediatric oncology to merge my love for kids with my passion for science, but I am also considering a career in cancer research.

After graduation I will attend college at Saint Francis University or Edinboro University of Pennsylvania Honors College to study nursing. I wish to continue some of my extracurriculars like dance, cheer, and student government along with volunteer work. I decided to go into nursing due to my recent diagnosis of type 1 diabetes. Before my diagnosis I was unsure of my plans, but it has put me on the right career path. One day I hope to become a nurse practitioner and help others with type 1.

As an upcoming freshman in undergraduate studies at Penn State University, I plan to major in plant sciences and double-minor in horticulture and landscape architecture. After earning my bachelor’s degree, I hope to enter a career which focuses on the unique intersections of botany, design, and sustainability in order to create flourishing community ecosystems through local green spaces, sustainability awareness, and environmental equity for all.

My plans after High School is to become a sports agent. I love all sports and the love of the game will help me reach my goals. My disability does not define who I am or what I can achieve. I also want other people to learn that people with disabilities can achieve anything with hard work. I always give everything my best. I plan to give back to my community in anyway I can and always be the version of myself.

As I enter my senior year in high school I plan to pursue academic, athletic, and leadership excellence both in the classroom and in my extracurriculars. Using these skills I will strive to attend a high achieving university in hopes of double majoring in Political Sciences and Philosophy while double minoring in English and Spanish; as well as continuing athletics. In hopes that my leadership skills will guide me towards a possible law degree, I wish to pursue a career in the political field.

I am currently enrolled in a Harvard Academy program and this summer I will be attending the Johns Hopkins Engineering Summit. After graduating from Oakland Catholic, I will be attending a four-year university with the intention of majoring in civil engineering. While I haven’t decided on a specific career, I’d like to marry my interest in public service and engineering to give back to the community.

Currently I am still undecided between Chatham University and Saint Francis University where I have been accepted into both programs. I am passionate about helping others so I am very excited to begin my higher education in this field.

I have been a member of the Western PA Girl Scouts for 7 years and have earned my Bronze, Silver and Gold Award. I have also earned the St Lucy’s Medallion. I have also attended the Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership (HOBY) conference at Washington and Jefferson University. I was not sure where to put this information above. I plan on continuing to volunteer and help the community I live in. I also plan of attending a 4 year university to study engineering, particularly aeronautics.

I plan to attend California University of Pennsylvania to pursue a dual major in Business Administration/Marketing and Biology with my long-term goal of a career in Veterinarian Medicine. I plan to simultaneously earn my MBA while in graduate school as I obtain my DVM and eventually own my own business.

My future plans are to attend Saint Vincent College to major in Data Analytics with a minor in Business. Studying this field will allow me to follow my passion for mathematics and numbers where I strive in critical thinking and problem solving. This will afford me the education to acquire a position with a company and the knowledge to eventually own my own firm. Providing for my future family as a hard working father is my ultimate goal.

I want to pursue a major in biomedical engineering with a pre-med track in hopes of ultimately becoming a physician assistant. I want to specialize in pediatrics to cultivate my desire to help others, especially young children facing medical ailments. Although I have not decided on what college I will attend, my top choices include Seton Hill University, University of Pennsylvania, and Johns Hopkins University. Ultimately, my goal is to help others. I intend to continue pursuing this passion.

I plan to further my education and earn a degree in Secondary Education specialized in Mathematics. After becoming a teacher and obtaining valuable experience, I am aiming to continue my education and become a Secondary School Principal. While doing so, I plan on maintaining my positive outlook and forming meaningful relationships to make the most of the opportunities presented and life as a whole.
